Baobab Coffee

This delicious traditional drink is made from roasting and grinding Baobab seeds and is a great substitute to regular coffee. it does not contain any caffeine. The powder can also be used as seasoning for soups and other dishes.

In traditional medicine, the baobab seeds were used to treat a variety of diseases ranging from gum disease, aching joints, stomach and kidney problems. hunters also used baobab seeds as an antidote to neutralise the poisonous strophanthus applied to arrowheads for hunting.
